About Killer Strings Australia

Killer Strings are the brainchild of the incredible STEVE ARVEY. Steve has spent years as a touring musician and has played with all the greats. He realised there had to be a way for CBG players to be able to obtain awesome strings at a great price. Years of research and design has paid of with our range of KILLER STRINGS for CBG. They are the perfect blend of materials and gauge for Cigar Box Guitars. Our strings are "Nickel Wound for that Monster Sound" and are designed to stay in tune no matter how hard you push them. Custom made in the USA…and 100% guaranteed.

Our Difference

Killer Strings Australia stands apart by offering strings specifically calibrated to the unique needs of cigar box guitar players. We provide convenient 3-string and 4-string packs, eliminating the waste of unused strings from standard 6-string sets. We are all about providing superior tone and reliability for your cigar box guitars.

Our Story

Killer Strings Australia was born out of a need. For too long, Australian cigar box guitar players have been limited to low-quality imported strings or paying too much for 6-string sets. Now, Thanks to Steve Arvey, Australia has access to top-notch American made strings specifically designed for 3 and 4-string CBGs and a new 6 string set for open tuning. We bring quality and affordability to your music.

American Made Quality

At Killer Strings Australia, we are proud to supply quality, American made strings that will offer superior tone and reliability for your cigar box guitars. You can feel secure in the knowledge that you are purchasing quality when shopping with us.

Thank you, Adam Harrison
